Thanks for stopping by. I'm a Web Developer/Programmer with over 10 years experience creating and developing applications for the enterprise and web sites. My interest and passion is for developing interactive/data aware web applications, leveraging the power of ColdFusion, AJAX, CSS and Adobe Products. I currently work as a "one-man show" managing applications for clients across the Southeast.

This was a project to simply illustrate that JavaScript is a true and capable development language. Though restricted to the environment allocated to the browser, JavaScript provides the programmer with tools to build interactive, decision support applications. This was a project using ColdFusion, with AJAX and CSS. ColdFusion provides for Server-Side data manipulation, allowing a Web 2.0 applications to provide functionality normally found within enterprise applications. This application has a built-in CMS. Please to go to my Golf Site to view the front end; or to Golf Maintenance to view/use the Content Management System (password is: LoveGolf!).

This was a project using ColdFusion, with AJAX and CSS. ColdFusion provides for Server-Side data manipulation, allowing a Web 2.0 applications to provide functionality normally found within enterprise applications. To add a photo album, you simply use and FTP program (easy to learn and use) to upload images to a new folder, where the folder name is the name of your new album. Customers can see and buy your post immediately. Please go to the Photographer's Site to view the front end; to experience the selection/purchasing system, select "Galleries" and login as "guest" with the password "money."

This was a project using Adobe's Spry, a version of AJAX and CSS. This Application uses XML to define galleries, images played and the time displayed. To view this project, go to my Slide Show.

I have a passion for analysis of business situations/task and using software applications to streamline task and increase productivity. Having worked with an enterprise software system for over 10 years, as an application designer/developer and manager/programmer, I have a clear understanding of how information security, information sharing and task automation can raise the efficiency of operations and reduce costs of providing services.

My dear wife, Patty, passed away on March 3, 2010 at our home. Predeceased by her father, Herbert Wesley Cooper, survivors include me, her husband, daughter Julie Price of Raleigh, NC and mother Jeanette Cooper of Canton, GA. Please follow follow this link to visit her Memorial Page.
